The Summer Hockey games are a great way to end the long days of Summer. The games are played within the club. The level of play caters for all skill levels. There is a role for every player on the field. Depending on mood and safety, tomahawks, reverse stick play and aerials are discouraged to avoid injuries.

If goalies are not present, there will be no hitting in in the D, and the ball must remain low and hit the back board to be a valid goal.

We usually have a good turnout with only a few subs. If the numbers reduce too much we may play on half the pitch. We run a waiting list if numbers are high. If you can’t make it, please message the organiser and we’ll let the next person on the list know that they have a game.

All summer games are held at the Streatham and Clapham High School, 42 Abbotswood Rd, SW16 1AW

Pricing:

• £10 / match for Non Members
• £5 / Match for Members
• £2.50 / Match for Students (Identity card must be shown)

Membership cost £20 for the summer period or is inclusive in the £60 yearly membership charge.

• One Black Top and One White Top
• Water
• Gum Shield
• Shin Pads

Please Note:

• Toilet and changing facilities are not available in the School.
• Please do not enter the pitch area if children or junior hockey players are using the facility.
• Ensure that you contact the organsisers if you are unable to play, so that others may take your place.
• If you arrive late, make yourself known to the players. You will be assigned a team as soon as possible.
